Plans Announced for 2008 Season
Scream at the Beach is bigger and better than ever!

Portland, OR -- Portland's premier haunted house, ranked for the second year in a row as one of the Top 13 Haunts in the nation by AOL, Scream at the Beach returns as Portland's largest, scariest and highest quality Halloween event, offering six full-featured haunted houses, live shows, concerts, thrill rides, concessions, games and contests at the Jantzen Beach SuperCenter. The spooky fun begins soon!
Dates: October 3-5, 9-12, 16-31 and November 1
Times: Opens at 7:00pm (closing times vary)
Admission: $8.00 per haunted house, or $20 for the Screamer Special Sun-Thr, or $25 Fri-Sat (see also web specials). Discount coupons available at all Jantzen Beach SuperCenter retailers. Note: we've added twice as many attractions this season, but kept the prices low!

The 2008 Attractions
The Awakening: The old manor hides its secrets well. But something strange is happening of late: lights appear in windows late at night and screams echo from passages below the mountain. Something evil has awakened, and it wants to party!
Zombie Apocalypse: It's the end of the world as we know it…and we're not talking about mindless politicians. This is even worse! An epidemic has turned humans into flesh eating zombies. Your job is to survive.
The Mine: The old abandoned gold mine hides more secrets than it can contain: hideous mutants that have made the mine their home. They are always glad to receive visitors...for dinner.
Lost Temple: The crumbling walls of this ancient edifice hide a terrible secret. It's a dark palace guarded by deathless warriors, traps, mazes and bottomless pits to keep unwanted visitors out. Mystery and intrigue draw you in, but the discoveries to be made are not treasures; they're of doom and destruction.
Blackout: It's dark...there are strange sounds and the walls are slimy. What's that moving in the path ahead? No light penetrates this hauntyou have to feel your way through.
CarnEvil Thrill Rides: Scream on scary carnival thrill rides. The carnival is back with even more rides and games!
Main Stage: Enjoy live shows from 7pm to 9pm, and dance to live bands from 9pm to 11pm nightly.
Glow Golf Course: Test your skills on our blacklight miniature golf course decorated with Halloween themes.
Reception Center: Reserve our party and reception room for your group. It's a private themed space for members of your group to gather in before enjoying our haunts.
And More: Tarot card readers, fortune tellers, face painters, concessions, games, contests with prizes and much more!
Scream at the Beach, is sponsored by Scream Entertainment, Inc., a nonprofit community theater promoting the development of theatrical talent, especially among youth, by producing shows for its favorite holiday, Halloween, with the support of TW Productions LLC, a company whose staff has over 23 years experience producing award winning special events across the nation. Their combined efforts have helped to raise funds to support the American Red Cross, Big Brothers Big Sisters, local nonprofits and to support public school drama departments.
