Your Role
Our Cast Members are the dreamers and doers, and are committed to making nightmares come true for our Guests. Our people represent a broad spectrum of experience, background and expertise, and we want to add to this diverse wealth of talent.
The Physical Challenge
As a Cast Member, you will be "on stage" every evening and represent an important element of the Show. You will be a primary reason why our Guests come to visit us time after time. Staying in character and delivering the same "show" to each guest is hard work. By the end of the evening you'll be exhausted, but very happy. We'll teach you techniques to stay safe and conserve your energy in Monster College, prior to the start of the show.
Making a Difference
When you participate in this show you do more than just entertain tens of thousands of our Guests. You also help to make a difference to a great many people. Scream at the Beach has literally saved people's lives by giving young and old alike a worthwhile, rewarding activity to do, as opposed to the many other life-destructive options in today's world. We also contribute much needed funds to the American Red Cross, Big Brothers Big Sisters and other non-profit organizations, including our own called Scream Entertainment.
Scream Entertainment Inc., is a non-profit community of people who share a love of Halloween and scary entertainment. We exist to provide education and training to the public through workshops, seminars and performances that teach practical skills in theatrical set design and construction, makeup, costuming, acting in and managing community-based theatrical entertainment and events. These theatrical entertainment and events serve as after-school activities for youth as a way to reduce dependence on government programs, foster self-esteem, earn credit for community service, and combat community deterioration.
Roadies
These are our amazing event volunteers who do everything from serving food to the monsters, to creating and maintaining the costumes, to repairing the haunts. Our events would not happen without them and we are grateful for all of their hard work and the generous spirit with which they volunteer their time and efforts!
So, come along and discover "Your Role in the Show." This is your invitation to start on the road to making your own dreams (and someone else's nightmares!) a reality at Scream at the Beach.
