June 1, 2009
Halloween Time at Scream at the Beach is packed with spook-tacular fun for the whole family-with alluring attractions, tricks & treats, crafty creations, chilling rides and shows, and more!
The biggest news to hit Town is that we've eliminated all of the long queue lines-both for buying tickets and for entering the haunted attractions with our new check-in system. You will have the entire evening free to enjoy all of the event activities, rather than stand in long lines!
Location: 1772 Jantzen Beach Center (the former Circuit City building)
Dates: 2-3, 8-10, and 15-31.
Hours: 7 pm to 10 pm Sun-Thu, and 7 pm to 11 pm Fri & Sat
New Attractions:
- Deadtime Stories Our largest and most intricate haunted house ever. Packed with amazing illusions, frightening scares and creepy characters that will lead you through a "near-death" experience.
- Halloween Town This amazing town includes themed shops, a restaurant, entertainment venues, interactive exhibits, and spooky town residents who are happy to pose with you for pictures.
- Carnival Thrill Rides Lose your lunch on these expanded collection of carnival rides that are anything but tame.
- The Great Pumpkin Serving up pumpkin desserts, coffees and teas, this counter service restaurant includes a veranda for seating that overlooks a graveyard and spooky manor. Crickets, fireflies and overhead lanterns makes it almost...romantic!
- Bizarro's Hat Shop an amazing array of bizarre hats and outrageous wigs can be discovered here to "top off" your evening of fun.
- Monster's Concert Hall Sing along in this concert hall decorated to resemble an ancient temple. Live bands perform nightly.
- Miss Morbid's Playhouse of Horrors is a safe haven for Little Screamers (ages 6 and under) who would find the haunted attraction too intense. Parents and children can play games, participate in arts and crafts projects, perform in puppet shows, hunt for creepy crawlies and more.
- Scream Mortuary glass coffins hold living corpses covered with live snakes...and a few surprises for onlookers.
It's going to be a great year for thrill seekers at Scream at the Beach. Join the fun! Our monsters can't wait to hear you scream!
