    History of Scream at the Beach
    Scream at the Beach first opened to rave reviews in 2001, attracting the attention of local and national media and industry experts. Since that time it has grown into the largest Halloween event in the Pacific Northwest, and is considered to be one of the Top 3 Haunts in the nation.

  • First haunted attraction for TW Productions LLC - October 2001, at Jantzen Beach SuperCenter.
  • Capacity for haunted attraction - 1,200 guests per hour.
  • Event capacity - 375,000 guests each season.
  • Total tour time: Approximately 30 minutes, but we always answer "how long does it take?" with "it depends on how fast you can run!"
  • Total cost to produce (materials and overhead only): over 1 million.
  • Total number of monsters to keep things running per night: From 80 to 125 (and sometimes more), depending on night of week and attendance predictions.
  • Total number of monsters for Halloween season: over 200.
